My name is Beryl and I’m the author of a blog about photo and video editors. I started this blog 4 years ago because I felt I could share my experience and knowledge with more people. I have been doing custom photo and video editing for 6 years now.

On my blog you will find software reviews, ratings, picks, tutorials and much more. If you have a question or suggestion, you can email me through my contact page.

Everyone has piles of photos of some memorable moment in their life at home. And among all there is at least one that has a defect such as poor lighting, dim colors, the well-known red-eye effect and so on. Such defects spoiled more than one photo, and after that you could throw them away. But that all changed with the advent of photo editing software.

With their help, you can save even the most hopeless photos. Using their functions, it became possible to change the red-eye to natural colors, as well as lighting the dark areas of photos and vice versa. With their help, your photos will become much more colorful and juicy, just like the moments of life that are recorded in them.

The same can be said about video editors. Several important factors have contributed to the popularity of video. First, the growth of the capacity of hard drives and the speed of processors. After all, even with the use of standard compression algorithms an hour-long film can take up several gigabytes on the disk. And overlaying changes and special effects (rendering) made while editing the film can take several times longer than the actual duration of the “movie” itself (and this time depends directly on the processor). The second factor is the digital video boom. In the “analog” era, video could only be entered into the computer (from an analog camcorder or VCR) using special “digitizer” cards, which cost several hundred dollars and were therefore not widely available.
